Operation: Santa PAWS

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, the needs of Chicagoland’s homeless, lost and abused pets often get overlooked. More than 8,000 homeless pets die each year on the streets or when placed in shelters.

The Drive’s Sherman and Tingle want to help our furry friends in need with “Operation: Santa PAWS!” We’ve teamed up with PAWS Chicago — an organization dedicated to building no-kill communities — to collect new toys, food, and cash donations for those animals who don’t have homes or families for the holidays

WAYS TO HELP:

(1) Join The Drive LIVE all day Friday, December 16th from 7am-7pm at the PAWS Chicago North Shore Adoption Center inside the Highland Park PETCO. The Drive will be on-site all day collecting needed items and hanging with some dogs and cats that would love a forever home for the holidays. The PETCO is located at 1616 Deerfield Road in Highland Park. Click here for a map.

(2) Drop off items or cash donations at the two PAWS Chicago locations now through December 16th: Chicago Adoption Center on 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue and the North Shore Adoption Center inside the Highland Park PETCO on 1616 Deerfield Road.

(3) Click here to visit the PAWS website and donate today!

Imagine the simple joy a new toy could bring to a pup or kitty’s eyes on Christmas morning. For our four-legged friends, it’s often the smallest gestures that mean the most. Thanks in advance for helping pets in need!
