Join The Drive and the Special Kids Network for their 16th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 22 at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove.  Featuring celebrity golfers like former Blackhawks Great Jeremy Roenick, Jermon Bushrod of the Bears and The Morning Drive’s Dan McNeil. Join The Drive in supporting The Arlington Heights Fire Department’s annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Boot Drive on Friday, May 29th.  Firefighters will be collecting donations at all major intersections and also the Downtown Metra Station of Arlington Heights. The Drive Crew will be with the Tower Ladder Truck Display at the Vail Street Jewel Store parking lot next to the Metra station that day from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. You can also support their efforts at the AHFD MDA Benefit starting at 7 p.m. May 29th at the H.O.M.E. Bar in Arlington Heights, with live music, silent auction and more. For information, go to www.iafflocal3105.org/mda.

Join the Bolingbrook Lions for their Beep Baseball Bash for Blind and Visually Impaired Athletes. It’s happening June 13-14 at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Center, at Lindsey Lane and Lily Cache, in Bolingbrook. Beep Baseball is a modified version of conventional baseball, played with specially adapted equipment that allows balls to beep and bases to buzz. Come out and watch these amazing athletes in action.
