The Chicago Fire Department Foundation was created to fund and support the work of the Chicago Fire Department. The funds raised assist the CFD and its members to prevent and respond to fires, medical emergencies, disasters and terrorist acts, which protects the lives and property of residents and visitors in Chicago.
