2021 Virtual EmpoweRun 5K

Safety is the top priority, so run at your leisure all May long in A Safe Place’s Virtual EmpoweRun 5K to support victims of domestic violence & human trafficking. Recruit friends & family to join, or support with pledges so we can all change lives together!
Create a fundraising team or join as an individual runner and help us raise money to continue providing our full range of services to families of domestic violence and human trafficking, AND to promote awareness of the impact and consequences of violence in our communities. Ask your friends and family for pledges and support to help end domestic violence and human trafficking in Lake County! Participants will receive an Exclusive A Safe Place EmpoweRun T-shirt and a Swag Bag provided by Overture! Registration closes April 1st, 2021.
A Safe Place provides emergency shelter; affordable transitional housing; a 24-hour crisis line (847-249-4450); court and non-legal advocacy; individual, group, and children’s counseling; family visitation services; batterer intervention services; and community outreach, prevention education, and professional training.
