The MBC Presents: Rock Radio Revisted
August 14, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

It’s the feel-good event of the summer! Join Bob Stroud along with John Records Landecker, Tommy Edwards and more at the Museum of Broadcast Communications’ “Rock Radio Revisited” at The Des Plaines Theatre Sunday, August 14th at 3pm. The Museum of Broadcast Communications (MBC) is excited to present a celebration of the on-air personalities and music of rock & roll radio of a generation with ‘ROCK RADIO REVISITED’.
Former rock jock and WGN Radio’s Wendy Snyder steers this trip down memory lane as John Records Landecker and Tommy Edwards reminisce about the golden age of rock radio, along with stories about the DJ’s, the fans, the gimmicks, vintage air checks and more! Landecker spent decades at WLS and the former WJMK and Tommy Edwards on WLS, WCFL and WKQX, and was part of the famous “Animal Stories” (a.k.a. “Little Snot-Nosed Tommy”) with Larry Lujack on WLS and WRLL. They’ll be joined in person and remotely by special guests and personalities across America including Gary Burbank (WLW), Steve King (WLS, WIND, WGN), ‘Cousin ‘Brucie’ Morrow (Sirius, WABC), Kris Erik Stevens (WLS, WCFL, KQV), Bob Stroud (WLUP,WDRV), Connie Szerszen (WIND, WJMK, WJEZ, WJJD, WUSN) and Dyana Williams (WHUR, WBLS, WRQX). * All proceeds benefit the MBC.
